How Voxlan collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated: October 14, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how Voxlan (“Voxlan”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit voxlan.io, contact us, book a call or work with us. Voxlan is a digital marketing studio (content and UGC, paid media, marketing automation and CRM, funnels, web design and SEO, AEO and GEO) operated from Colombia by its founders, Camilo Moreno Bejarano and María Paula Cortés.
For the purposes of Colombian data protection law, Voxlan is the data controller (responsable del tratamiento). You can reach us at hello@voxlan.io.
Information you give us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we and our providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, approximate location and date/time. We also store campaign parameters (such as UTM tags and advertising click identifiers like fbclid) in your browser session so we can understand which of our ads brought you here.
Cookies and similar technologies. See section 5.
Information we process for our clients. When we run ads, automations or CRMs for a client, we may process the personal information of that client’s leads and customers (for example names, emails, phone numbers and ad interactions). In that case we act on the client’s behalf and under its instructions, and the client’s own privacy policy applies to that data.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this site. Please do not send us health data, government ID numbers, payment card numbers or similar details in the contact form.
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: your consent (for example for non-essential cookies and marketing messages); steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of a contract (when you ask for a proposal or become a client); our legitimate interests (running and securing our business and measuring our marketing, balanced against your rights); and legal obligations (tax and accounting).
Under Colombian law (Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations), we process your data based on your prior, express and informed authorization, which you give when you submit the form, book a call or contact us, and under the other grounds the law allows.
We use a limited set of technologies:

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed with:
Our providers may only use your information to provide services to us and must protect it.
We operate from Colombia and our providers may store or process data in the United States, the European Union or other countries. When we transfer personal information across borders we do so with appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections with our providers, and in line with applicable law.
We keep enquiries and lead information for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations and to handle disputes. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
All visitors. You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Write to hello@voxlan.io.
EEA and UK. You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California and other US states. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know and access the personal information we collected, to delete or correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising, to limit the use of sensitive information (we do not use it beyond what the law permits), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, email us with the subject “Opt-out”, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or block the Meta Pixel in your browser or Meta ad settings. You may use an authorized agent; we may need to verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days (extendable once where the law allows). In the last 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), professional information (business name), commercial information (service enquiries) and internet activity, and disclosed them for business purposes to the providers listed above.
Colombia (Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and related rules). As the data subject (titular) you have the right to: know, update and rectify your data; request proof of the authorization you gave; be informed about how we use your data; file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC); revoke your authorization and/or request deletion when we do not comply with the law; and access your data free of charge. Send queries and claims to hello@voxlan.io. We will answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days (each extendable as the law allows).
We send marketing emails, SMS or WhatsApp messages only where you have asked for them or where the law allows. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; for text or WhatsApp messages you can reply STOP or tell us you no longer want to be contacted.
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Our site may link to other websites and services (such as social networks, Calendly or WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, if the changes are significant, tell you by other reasonable means.
